Technical DescriptionPrenaica wall panel is a multi-layered surface system that merges the layered and horizontally woven morphology of natural stone walls with a fiber-reinforced composite panel structure. The relief on the panel surface reproduces, with high precision, the layer lines of slate stone, its surface roughness distribution, mineral texture and light-diffusing matte characteristics.
The structural body consists of a fiber-reinforced top layer and a mineral-filled lower component. This structure provides high mechanical strength with low density. The panel remains stable against bending, sagging and torsion, and does not lose form even on large surfaces. Its impact resistance is high, and no cracking, breaking or layer separation occurs on the surface.
The surface protection system is engineered to resist water, moisture, UV radiation, temperature variations and freeze–thaw cycles. Thus, Prenaica offers long-lasting performance both in interiors and, with proper substrate conditions, on exterior façades and semi-open areas. Its controlled pore structure reduces dirt retention and minimizes maintenance needs.
The composite structure allows the panel to be cut, drilled and easily adapted to details such as electrical outlets or lighting lines. This workability makes the panel versatile for architectural projects both technically and decoratively. Installation is carried out using a mechanical fastening method, ensuring the panel is firmly anchored to the surface and maintains stability throughout thermal cycles.
Additionally, Prenaica is a product whose environmental performance is verified with an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), contributing to sustainability criteria. This feature allows the panel to provide point-earning potential in international green building certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM and WELL.
In conclusion, Prenaica v is a durable, lightweight, environmentally optimized and architecturally versatile cladding solution that combines natural stone aesthetics with modern panel technology. -
