Wood Barbados
Bring the layered spirit of wooden blocks to life through modern panel technology.
Wood Barbados is a high-performance fiberglass-based wall panel that three-dimensionally reproduces the appearance of wooden blocks arranged at varying heights. With its minimalist geometric expression and lightweight structure, it offers long-lasting aesthetic and technical performance in both interior and exterior applications.

Technical DescriptionThe Wood Barbados Panel reinterprets the volumetric aesthetic created by wooden block groups arranged at different elevations through its fiber–fiberglass composite structure. The panel surface features a multilayered topography that reflects overlapping block forms, stepped height transitions, and the deep shadow lines generated by this arrangement. Through a high-precision molding process, the surface is replicated from the master model with millimetric accuracy, preserving the sharp contours, fractured edges, and textural details of the block geometry.
The core structure is composed of fiberglass layers reinforced with mineral additives. This composite system minimizes bending, warping, and localized deformation across large surfaces. The combination of mineral rigidity and fiberglass tensile strength creates a lightweight yet mechanically robust panel, allowing Wood Barbados to stand out as both a structural and aesthetic cladding solution.
The Wood Barbados Panel is engineered for stability against heat and humidity cycles. Its controlled thermal expansion behavior prevents blistering, cracking, or surface separation under temperature fluctuations. The block-form embossed geometry distributes impact energy across the surface, increasing impact resistance and reducing surface fatigue an essential advantage for high-traffic areas and large-scale installations.
Its surface formulation is stabilized against UV radiation, water vapor, rainfall, and chemical atmospheric exposure. As a result, the panel maintains long-term color stability, textural integrity, and mechanical performance even in semi-exterior conditions. It offers durable usage without fading, matting, or surface erosion.
Thanks to its fiber–fiberglass internal structure, Wood Barbados provides excellent workability. It can be easily cut, drilled, and shaped on-site, allowing electrical outlets, lighting systems, service conduits, and custom architectural details to be seamlessly integrated. Installation is carried out using a screw + dowel mechanical fastening system; the stable core ensures strong anchorage at connection points, enabling long-lasting and secure performance.
The Wood Barbados Panel offers a versatile architectural solution with its lightweight yet high-rigidity structure, multilayered 3D topography that combines aesthetics with impact durability, stabilized surface resistant to UV–moisture–heat variations, ability to create seamless surfaces with minimal joints, and its highly workable composite system.
This advanced composite infrastructure aligns Wood Barbados with sustainable architectural standards. Its lightweight nature reduces energy consumption during production, transportation, and installation, while its long-lasting stability improves material efficiency. Free of harmful chemical components, the panel supports indoor air quality and occupant well-being. These attributes make Wood Barbados compatible with LEED, BREEAM, and WELL certification criteria related to material health, durability, resource efficiency, and interior comfort.
Wood Barbados merges the sculptural effect of wooden block arrangements with contemporary composite engineering, delivering a bold, character-rich, and long-lasting surface expression for architectural spaces. -
