Technical DescriptionThe Vedtra Panel is a high-performance fiber + fiberglass wall panel designed to reinterpret the surface traces formed on natural wood over time. The arrangement of wooden segments and the organic texture transitions on the panel surface are created using high-resolution three-dimensional topographic modeling. This multilayered topography defines the surface’s light–shadow behavior, adding visual depth while enhancing tactile realism to evoke an authentic wooden effect.
The panel’s structural core is composed of fiberglass layers stabilized with mineral additives and polymer-based binders. This composite system enables the panel to remain stable under bending, compression, and impact loads. Fiber reinforcement increases rigidity, while mineral components enhance surface hardness, allowing Vedtra to maintain high mechanical performance despite its low surface density. As a result, Vedtra minimizes deformation risk across wide applications and preserves form stability over time.
The Vedtra Panel is formulated to withstand temperature variations, UV exposure, humidity, water vapor, and atmospheric conditions. Its low thermal expansion behavior prevents blistering, cracking, or surface separation under thermal cycling. The three-dimensional surface geometry optimizes impact energy distribution, enhancing impact resistance and reducing long-term surface fatigue.
Its fiber–fiberglass base allows efficient cutting, drilling, and shaping, enabling compatibility with electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, infrastructure passages, and custom architectural details. Installation is completed using a screw + dowel mechanical fastening system, and the stable internal structure ensures strong anchorage that supports long-term installation stability.
The Vedtra Panel is a versatile cladding solution, offering high resistance to heat, humidity, UV exposure, and weathering; strong mechanical durability despite its low density; surface stability against impact and deformation; an embossed geometry that enhances visual and tactile authenticity; and a workable composite structure that adapts easily to architectural detailing. Its large-format design also allows surfaces to be covered with minimal joints, providing seamless visual continuity.
Vedtra’s advanced composite structure and low-impact production approach naturally align with sustainable architectural standards. Its lightweight composition reduces energy consumption during transportation and installation, while its long-lasting surface stability enhances material efficiency and reduces maintenance requirements. Free from harmful chemical components, the panel supports indoor air quality and contributes to user comfort. These qualities make the Vedtra Panel compatible with LEED, BREEAM, and WELL certification criteria for material health, resource efficiency, durability, and indoor comfort.
Vedtra merges the timeless aesthetic of natural wood traces with high-strength composite engineering, delivering a warm yet contemporary surface experience for architectural spaces. -
