Technical DescriptionKaron Slate wall panel is a multilayer wall cladding system developed to reproduce the complex surface morphology of natural stone and the character of stacked stone walls. The surface topography of the panel transfers the stratified structure of stone plates, surface roughness distribution, micro-cracks, and depth variations onto the panel through precision molding; thus the surface replicates the light–shadow behavior and tactile perception observed in real stone walls.
The structural body of the panel is formed by a composite system combining a fiber-reinforced upper layer and a mineral-enhanced dense lower layer. This structure maintains the stone-like surface appearance while ensuring the panel remains lightweight yet mechanically rigid. Fiber reinforcement provides stability against mechanical loads such as impact, bending, and torsion, enabling long-term performance across large surfaces without sagging or deformation. Surface integrity is preserved under impact preventing cracking, surface fracturing, or layer separation.
The surface coating is strengthened with protective layers against water, moisture, rain, UV radiation, freeze–thaw cycles, and atmospheric effects. As a result, the panel becomes resistant to exterior conditions; risks such as deformation, discoloration, or surface degradation caused by moisture or UV exposure are minimized. Controlled surface porosity reduces dirt retention and lowers maintenance requirements.
Thanks to its composite infrastructure, Karon Slate can be cut, drilled, machined, and easily adapted to architectural details. This offers great flexibility for socket/anchor recesses, lighting line transitions, architectural niches, or decorative element integrations. When mechanical fastening (screw + anchor) is used as recommended, the panel seats firmly on the surface, providing long-term stability and secure installation.
